My friends, this is the r(z)eal deal. Up until a couple of years ago, I suffered from SHD (self-hatred disorder.) No, it's not in the DSM, but it's a very real disorder. I know what it's like to wake up in the morning and hate everything about the person I see in the mirror. I know what it's like to hate every word that comes out of my own mouth and what it's like to be utterly confused by the people who love me. BUT, I also know what it's like to wake up in a bath of my own love, to be proud of my reflection, and to laugh away my mistakes right along with the people who love me. I've been everywhere between and my art shows the whole, raw, messy journey. It will take you to the darkest places, the juiciest places, and everywhere in between. So no matter where you are on the spectrum of possible relationships you have with yourself, I have art for you. I will always encourage self-acceptance, but I understand the need for validation of everything else. And my art is here to express it all.
