My love for painting and the arts go way back much earlier than my college days of studying studio art. Since college, “life happened” and art became a side hobby around work, marriage and two amazing kiddos. A few years ago, my husband took a huge risk and quit his boring day job to become a helicopter pilot. The risk he took paid off and his new day job is his dream job. He began taking amazing photographs of his views throughout the day and then an idea came into focus. I should paint these beautiful photographs. With that, and with the support of my family, I left my day job to follow my dream of being an artist.
