My name is Michelle Kahn but I go by my biological first name of Jasmine. I'm a 27 yr. old self-taught artist from Aurora, Illinois. I grew up in a few places around the country before settling back down in Illinois near Chicago. I love art, always have. Growing up, pencil and paper were my tools... After that came water colored pencils and a camera. More recently, I have set those aside temporarily, to pick up the art of acrylic painting. I love the fluidity and combinations that I have achieved with an endless variety of tools and imagination. I wanted to be able to share these paintings I've done with more people, and figured, why not add them to t-shirts, mugs, posters, cases, and other items? We are born blank canvases, then, grow into our personalities. I like to take blank canvases and give them a 100% handcrafted one-of-a-kind personality of their own.
