Founded in 1993, the NCWHL (Northern California Women’s Hockey League) is a non-checking, recreational ice hockey league dedicated to providing women a place to learn to play ice hockey with and against other women. We strive to promote women’s ice hockey in the San Francisco Bay Area and offer 4 defined skill levels to accommodate players of all abilities from beginner to advanced.
