Mariana Arithra Botanicals

I'm Mariana Arithra Nahal, a visual artist and author working in watercolour and mixed media. My paintings move between hyper-realistic portraiture, sacred geometry, and botanical illustration, often finished with metallic watercolour accents. I was born in Costa Rica and have lived in the UK for over six years, and that thread, of carrying one place inside another, runs through most of what I make. I also write under the same name, with close to twenty published books exploring the same territory the paintings do: identity, memory, and belonging. The designs here are drawn from that original work, now available as prints, home decor, and everyday pieces you can live with.
