"I have been influenced by many Chinese paintings, but also by the works of Van Gogh and Picasso. Through all my art experiences and experiments I find painting to be more striking and valuable because paintings can be displayed immediately after they are created. Ultimately I stand by Acrylics. They work for me. They dry faster, the colors are more vibrant and sometimes I can even make them look like watercolors if I want. I can create by adding layer upon layer. I have always wanted to express the happiness I feel from enjoying the little things of everyday life. I often visit art museums to see up close the details of work by my favorite painters. Those visits inspire me to create something new -something that hasn't existed before -to draw out in my own expression - my feelings."
