Qvevri is a traditional Georgian winemaking vessel, deeply embedded in the country's rich winemaking history. The process involves burying the qvevri underground to maintain a stable temperature, and the wine ferments with its skins, seeds, and stems — a technique known as amber winemaking. This ancient method, which dates back over 8,000 years, is one of the oldest known forms of winemaking in the world. Qvevri winemaking produces wines that are complex, earthy, and full of character.
