Bartram Trail Georgia North Carolina Trucker Pet

The Bartram Trail is a roughly 116-mile hiking trail in Georgia and North Carolina that follows the approximate route taken by 18th-century naturalist William Bartram during his historic travels through the Southern Appalachians in 1775–1777. It winds through the Chattahoochee National Forest, crosses Rabun Bald (Georgia’s second-highest peak), passes waterfalls and wildflower-rich coves, and ends at Cheoah Bald in North Carolina, offering backpackers a mix of rugged ridges, river gorges, and rich botanical history.
