About "Tiger at the Gate" - Noble and dignified, he stands guard at the entrance-way to a local Thai temple. By virtue of his breed, he is the designated guardian of this most sacred place. Tigers are an endangered species we must protect at all costs. Current estimates tell us that there are between 179 and 223 wild Tigers in all of Thailand in 2024. Their numbers are rising slowly, bringing this magnificent Big Cat back from the brink of extinction.
