Tapisserie Suspendue Maui Jacaranda Trees

The upcountry region of Maui is dotted with beautiful jacaranda trees. Each Spring these special trees bloom in a profusion of purple blossoms. As the blossoms fall, they create a lovely carpet of lilac that covers the ground. This area of Maui features beautiful rolling hills and ranch lands. It is worth the drive along Kula Highway just to see this gorgeous trees in bloom. This illustration was created using a series of ink, oil pencil and high quality art markers.
