Vintage Crow Studios

I do Illustrations of Dark Gothic Fantasy via pen and ink as well as digital. I love the genre because it allows me as an artist to tap into the imagination and create a shadow world with hints of light. I actually consider my work more Gothic than "Goth". Much of my inspiration comes from old movies, including silent films, as well as books. I have been drawing since I was a lad and began Vintage Crow Studios in recent years for an outlet of my personal creative vision of a Gothic world. This world is populated by Victorian characters and settings as well as entities that cross the borders of the netherworld. Inspired by artists ranging from Durer to Edward Gorey as well as many of today's fantasy artists, my themes run to the macabre to dark humor.
