Tell someone our numbers are too great, and a common response you'll hear is that we will never run out of space (usually said while waving a hand toward the horizon). People don't understand. Space will be the last thing to go. Clean air will go before space, water will go before clean air, and food before water. To this we would add: the rule of law before food, civility before the rule of law, and the potential to be a great society before civility. You can decide for yourself where we currently reside along this decline. -- We take the view that there is no problem other than population. All other problems are symptoms. To best care for those who are here, our first obligation is to bring fewer into the world. How could it be otherwise?
