I have no trouble being an Artist.I believe art should be created for the pleasure of others.So, as an Artist, I have an obligation. An Artist has no choice.We will keep on painting or drawing or creating because we can’t leave it alone. What motivates me to paint is very simple; it’s the urge that doesn’t leave me alone.If I lived to be 100 I would not run out of subjects to paint. If my style is different from other Artists, then it could be because my personal feelings take over when I handle the brushes. I think this is more of a “calling” to which you have no choice but to give in. I am a self taught artist with a God Given gift, I study and learn thru books work shops and my fellow Artist Friends. I am a Native American Indian of the Cherokee and Chickasaw tribes.. I am registered as a Citizen of the Chickasaw tribe of Ada Oklahoma. My heritage has certainly been the driving force I use everyday with the love of this beautiful world of Art.
