SPORTS DESIGNS FOR PRINTABLE GIFTS THAT ANYONE CAN CUSTOMIZE AT WILL Hello, I’m George Magakis, and my story as an athlete begins at the age of 18 when I started working out at a local gym, lifting weights only. By the time I was 20, I became a boxing athlete despite worries that I was starting boxing a little late to make a career. After a dozen of fights within the amateur division, I hung up my gloves and spent the next decade just staying in shape. As time progressed, staying in shape just wasn't dragging me off the sofa to train anymore. Therefore, as a guy with a good frame, I decided that shot put was appropriate for me and it would allow me to compete in a sport once more. At 36, I entered my very first contest, once again rather old to be a challenge. When I reached 43, I found out the existence of “master athletes competitions” for athletes over 35. I made peace with myself and found where I belonged. Now I see much better results at least at a national level and I continue training and competing as a veteran athlete.
