RollerCoasterDreams
Since her childhood in New York, artist Karen Sperling has had a recurring dream in which the expansive highways leading to gigantic bridges turn into roller coasters as she travels over them. This series of black and white abstract art stems from this idea of highways turning into roller coasters.
You see some recognizable elements like roller coasters and highways, sort of like signposts in a strange world where you also see things that the artist may or may not have put there, based on your own ideas and perceptions.
This art had its debut at Monkdogz Urban Art Gallery in the Chelsea art section of Manhattan, and it has also been exhibited in Los Angeles and during Art Basel Miami Beach.
In addition to the items offered here, there are some original paintings available and commissions for custom work for homes and businesses are accepted. Write to Karen Sperling at ksperling@aol.com for more information or visit http://www.karensperling.com/
