Woy Woy, a coastal town on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It was here that Ctoz, a punk rock star from Bali, found inspiration for his surf brand, Raypirri. Ctoz had lived in Woy Woy for a while, immersing himself in the local culture and learning about the rich Aboriginal heritage of the area. One day, while exploring the bush, Ctoz stumbled upon an Aboriginal word, "Raypirri," which meant respect. It was the perfect name for his surf brand, reflecting the values of the local community and the ocean that brought them together. With Raypirri Surf Co., Ctoz aimed to create boards that not only rode the waves but also told a story of respect for the land, the sea, and the people who called it home.
