Your purchase directly supports the life saving work of Sam Trull, Costa Rica's most well known sloth conservationist. Featured in TV programs on BBC, PBS and "Helden van de Wildernis" (Heroes of the Wild) on Dutch TV AVROTROS. Sam is the co-founder and sloth director of The Sloth Institute (www.theslothinstitute.org) located in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. All sloths featured are sloths from The Sloth Insitute. "Sloth Love" is sloth photography dedicated to capturing their true essence; sloths are incredibly cute, but like all wildlife, they belong in the wild. To this end, The Sloth Institute has been conducting the longest Behavioral Ecology study of Costa Rican sloths, information that is needed to keep sloths wild and return hand-raised and injured sloths back to the rainforest where they belong.
