À propos

There are spirals painted on cave walls that are at least 40,000 years old. I believe that these spirals are meant to be metaphors for the journey of life; mankind's first conceptual art. Over the millennia these simple spirals evolved into more complex patterns, likely paralleling the evolving complexities of the times. 800 years ago, in the nave of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres, the world’s most recognized and famous path was laid into the stone floor, 42 feet across. After years of using representations of the Chartres labyrinth in my personal meditations, as well as a variety of earlier examples, I set forth to manifest the next iteration of the metaphor.
