I'm a relatively new self-taught artist who began acrylic and oil painting in 2007 and digital painting in 2009. Everything is still an experiment, but once I picked up the brush, I couldn't put it down! Although I enjoy painting anything that strikes me as beautiful or interesting, animals are a favorite design category, particularly dogs and wild animals. As "pet mom" over the years to four cats, a German Shepherd/Collie mix, seven Rottweilers, a Foxhound mix and, currently a Boxer/Lab mix, many of my designs feature my own kids. In addition, I would like to use art to bring awareness about mental illness and contribute in some way to ending the stigma associated with it. As such, a portion of any proceeds on my psychology-themed designs will go to organizations that support awareness of and research for mental illness, such as NAMI. Please feel free to make design requests by contacting me via the comments wall or by sending me a message, especially if you have an interest in having artwork made of favorite photos or subjects or would like French or Spanish captioning in place of the English where captions are already included in the design.
