Gallery Hakon

My name is Hakon, self-taught artist in many media; a painter, a photographer, a poet, occasionally musician and philosopher. It was my sudden and enlightening discovery that I could paint Christmas 1999 that first plunged me headlong into the creative life that I now lead. Even though I had started writing poetry much earlier, it was through painting that I felt I had found my clearest voice. Originally from Bergen, Norway, I now live in Inverness, Scotland, where I am trying to make a living from art, music and design full time, partly through regular sales on Zazzle.
