Walking the short distance from the Visitors Center to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon at Mather Point is like stepping into a sacred cathedral. The views are stunning and almost too much to take in at the same time. Visitors from around the world fall silent and are awed by their first views of this wonder of the world. From each Viewpoint along rim, North or South, the Grand Canyon paints a separate and unique portrait. I was so taken by what I saw I conducted many subsequent visits, did a great deal of research, and wrote, "Grand Canyon: Your South & North Rim Guide to Hiking, Dining, & Lodging." My guide is available as a Kindle book and print book on Amazon. In that book I included hundreds of pictures I took for the guide.
