My life is dedicated to the birds, whether through observation, study, photos or writing. I took these photos while working as a seabird biologist on Audubon's Seabird Restoration Program, Project Puffin. By reintroducing healthy breeding populations of the Atlantic Puffin back to the northeastern U.S. four decades ago, the effort is still strong to provide safe habitat for these and other sensitive island-nesting species. I'll also be adding additional stationary "packs", mugs and more of my photos from previous field jobs with various other species of birds I've had the pleasure of working with.
