I started doing watercolors when I was in college. Painting with watercolor and sumi ink has been a part of my life ever since. I have been teaching eastern spiritual philosophy at Santa Monica College for 25 years. I also teach Kundalini Yoga. Besides teaching and painting, I am also an author, meditation guide, and I love to sing. My most recent book is a picture book, called "The Sycamore That Wanted To Be a Cactus," which includes my original illustrations. I live with two terriers and a tortoise in Culver City, California.
