A few years ago .. A friend & I were bemoaning the lack of quality customizable art online, & out of nowhere I heard a voice that sounded suspiciously like mine saying "I can draw better than that". And there we sat. In stunned disbelief. She in hysterics & I with my foot wedged firmly in my mouth. I'd never had an art class & wasn't even much of a doodler. Sometimes we just say silly things & hope our audience doesn't call us on it. But friends don't let you off the hook that easily when you're a smarty pants. She sputtered out "so why don't you then?", & I sat wondering how I was going to get out of this one. And well, here we are. While no arteest, I offer some evidence that you don't know what you're capable of, if you don't try. Just do it, throw caution to the wind, & be willing to fail - you may just surprise yourself.
