I'm Allison Weeks Thomas — illustrator, visual artist, chronic art supply hoarder, and the one-woman operation behind everything you see here. My work lives somewhere between the whimsical and the political, the botanical and the absurd. I create digitally in Procreate and traditionally in whatever medium I happen to be obsessing over at the moment — ink, watercolor, pencil, all of the above. Sometimes it's a lotus tiger. Sometimes it's a circus poodle with feelings. Sometimes it's a protest sign dressed up as fine art. Usually it's all three simultaneously. I'm also the founder of The Rising Up Collective — a body of original activist illustration work created to provoke thought, protect democracy, and push back against authoritarian narratives. Because sometimes art is a love letter and sometimes it's a protest sign. Usually both. You'll find a little of everything here — invitations, stationery, patterns, prints, and whatever else crawled out of my sketchbook recently. Everything is hand-drawn and original. No AI. No obeying in advance. Just one artist, and a lot of feelings about the current state of things.
