Puzzle The Silence of Knowledge: Sacred Ibis of Thoth

Puzzle The Silence of Knowledge: Sacred Ibis of Thoth

Words are useless. Assemble the bird instead. You are looking for meaning. You are looking for a way to express the inexpressible. Stop talking. It does not help. Instead, consider the Ibis. The Historical Absurdity (and Divine Bureaucracy) This is not merely a wading bird with a curved beak. This is Thoth (or Djeheuty, if you wish to be formal and unpronounceable). He is the Ancient Egyptian god of wisdom, the moon, and—most tragically—writing. Yes, this bird is responsible for paperwork. He invented hieroglyphs. He is the reason we have grocery lists, tax forms, and product descriptions. He stands in the Hall of Ma'at, recording the weight of your heart against a feather. It is a very stressful job, which is why he usually looks so calm. He is dissociating. Why You Must Possess This Object: The Beak of Truth: Notice the curve of the beak. It mimics the crescent moon. It mimics the scribe's reed pen. It digs into the mud of the Nile to find truth, just as you will dig into the box to find the edge pieces. A Cure for Writer’s Block: Can’t find the right words? Neither can the Ibis. He is a picture. Assemble him, and perhaps the wisdom of the ages will spontaneously manifest in your living room. (No guarantees. He is a busy god). Vertical Majesty: The design is vertical. It rises like an obelisk. It does not slouch. The Logic of the Purchase: Logic is a construct, but shipping is a reality. Buy this for the writer who hates writing. Buy it for the historian who loves judgment. Buy it because the white of the Ibis feathers contrasts beautifully with the stone-grey background, and aesthetics are the only thing that saves us from the void. Thoth is watching. Put him together before he writes something unflattering about you in the Book of the Dead.

Good product for geographical puzzles lovers . Forget my previous comment, I got the product in the end (there was a delay and a mistake with the shipping service due to a wrong phone number on the invoice). Good quality, easy to assemble the pieces together
