Exhibition Description The Lantern That Flickered Blue presents an intimate interior scene within The Wishkeeper’s Corner and marks an important transition in the visual development of the Book 2 collection. Miriam Vale remains nearby as an attentive listener, while Elias Mercer observes from farther within the shop. Above Margaret, the familiar blue lantern begins to intensify in response to the grief being expressed beneath it. The composition is organized around a triangular relationship between Margaret, the photograph, and the lantern.
