Poster Resilience and Reflection

I painted my own uniquely original nature's cycle with a dead tree as the focal point void of color or bland surrounded by vibrant greenery and color. The whiteness of the tree signifies it's a ghost of itself, no longer rich with life and color. The few leaves still remaining on its withering branches are grey and shriveled. The holes and marks on its trunk and some branches are symptoms of being hollowed, aged, weathered and decayed by the elements. The dark red mounds at the base of the tree are ant hills using the tree for shelter and draining its resources if any left behind. This landscape is inspired by my own front yard.
