Psalm 11, To the conductor, of David; I took refuge in the Lord. How can you say to my soul, Fly like a bird to your mountain? For behold the wicked bend the bow, they set their arrow on the bowstring to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed; what will the righteous man do? The Lord is in His Holy Temple. the LORD’s throne is in the heavens; His eyes behold; His eyes see the children of men! The Lord examines the righteous and the wicked, and His soul hates the one who loves violence. Upon the wicked he will rain coals of fire, and a scorching wind is the portion of their cup. For the Lord is righteous; He loves Justice and the upright shall behold his face.
