It began with the motivation from several strong women in my life, both family & friends who encouraged me to stand up and take action. I decided to create my initial design "YES to...NO to..." message initially for a local march, the Sunday after Election Day in 2016 in San Francisco Golden Gate Park. I wanted to be positive yet direct about many issues involving our current political climate. Since attending the March in Washington D.C., I decided to place this simple yet relevant message onto clothing.
