Puzzle Bald Cypress

Bald cypress trees, native to Florida's wetlands, are majestic, deciduous conifers known for their distinctive, flared trunks and "knees" that rise from the water. These ancient trees thrive in swampy areas and provide critical habitats for wildlife, contributing to the rich biodiversity of Florida's ecosystems. Their resilience and unique appearance make them a fascinating feature of the state's natural landscape. These Bald Cypress Trees were at a local park I used to love to go to when I was staying in Lake City Florida. Alligator Lake Park features about 5 different walking trails.
