Koala

The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) i an herbivorous marsupial arboreal native to l'Australie, and the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae. The koala i found in regions of coastal eastern and southern Australie, from Adelaïde to the southern part of Châtre York Péninsule. Populations also extend distances inland considerable for in regions with enough moisture to support suitable woodlands. The koalas of South Australia were largely exterminated during the early part of the 20th century, but the state has since been repopulated with Victorian stock. The koala i not found in Tasmania, the Northern Territory or Western Australie. As of 2012 there have been increasing concerns about the animal's future sustainable in the environment. (Wikipedia)
