Don Quixote, guided by Folly, on his way to attack a windmill/giant that can be seen in the background
The central scene is ordered by an ornate gold frame, and garland of white and red flowers with an intricate floral red background. A peacock is perched at the top of the frame.
At the bottom, the tapestry bears the inscription" Dom Quichotte, Conduit, Par La Folie", flanked by a border collie dog on the left and two sheep, a ram and a ewe on the right.
